Pet Boarding & Daycare launched in September 2011, and over the last two years, I have seen the publication grow and evolve in many ways. We added this letter from the editor, increased the number of articles in each issue, and started including your contributions through Tails & Tales and our Facebook question of the day. The biggest change, perhaps, was the addition of an annual expo, giving our readers more opportunities for continued education and inspiration from some of the industry’s leading experts.

The first two expos were in Baltimore, Maryland, but thanks to your tremendous support of the show, we have already outgrown our venue there. In 2014, the Pet Boarding & Daycare Expo is moving to the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center (Hershey, Pennsylvania), long-time home to Barkleigh’s oldest show, Groom Expo. Save the date: November 10–13, 2014. Also mark your calendar for May 4–7, 2015. We’re adding a West Coast Pet Boarding & Daycare Expo in Burbank, California! We hope to see you at either of these upcoming shows.

This is my last issue as Managing Editor, a position I have had the privilege to hold since January 2012. It has been exciting and rewarding to witness the growth and development of not only this magazine but the community of pet boarding professionals.
